First gallery shot in a US magazine

The gallery shot in the US Steez Magazine was the first shot, which my friend and photographer Dominic Steinmann made.

Glad to see it in a magazine

I am so glad and proud to see this shot as a gallery shot in a magazine. It is unbelievable that a US Magazine printed my Method.
As a present I got four copies of the magazine. And here you can see the double page.

Photographers Work Honored

Dominic Steinmann got a whole page in a Magazine

The photographer Dominic Steinmann was honored by a snowsport magazine for his work. As a thank the Magazine offered him a whole page to present some of his shots.

I am part of it

I thank Dominic Steinmann that he has choosen two Pictures of me for the page in the magazine.



I am already looking forward and I am glad that he is on my side for my project of this winter. What it is will I tell you soon.

No it's time for some new action, but unfourtunetly it needs more snow here in Switzerland. So you can be sure that I am hungry for the next shots and ready when the snow will be here.

Gallery Shot Whiteout Magazine #35

Sick Road Gap at my home resort

Over five years I dreamed to do this spot and I was waiting for the perfect day to ride it! Yeah sure, it costed a lot of courage to ride this gap, but in the end I was fearless and concentrated to get the perfect shot.

I did a lot of sick things already on the board but, this one was till now the craziest one I made. So I am indescribable happy that Simon Ricklin has frozen this moment for ever. But finally the best thing is that this first big shot in my home resort Hohsaas has become a gallery shot in the Whiteout Magazine #35!

My first own Movie

Here it is

As I promised you in my last post, here it is!
It was a hard work to get my first movie. In the end it needed a huge effort of a good friend, Florian Zurbriggen. A special thank to him and for sure to all who supported me the whole season. Without all of you I would never got the chance to do a own movie.

Review and Outlook

Review

It was not the best winter I had, but we made some cool tripps, get some great pictures and had a lot of fun.
If you have read my blog from time to time you got already all news of my past season. If you did not done it yet, do it or show my bests shots of the last and passed seasons under photos.

Outlook

Here I would give you a short outlook what you next can expect.
Shortly I will present you my first own movie, which will be cutted by Florian Zurbriggen. The Movie will shows you what I did last season and should be not the last one. The next one I hope you can see at the same place next year.
Here you get a taste of it.

That I can present you next year better movie as the one I will show you shortly, I'm in preparation of the next season. Therefor I write a storybook in which I consider all the best spots, which I did not yet done.
The storybook is almost finished and so I can not wait until the winter begins and hope it will have enough snow to realize all my plans.

Hangover Riding

First killed a bottle Sambuca, second get a huge headache, third killed the pow

What was that for an unbelievable weekend last winter? My Cousin, Florian Burgener, and I have been feeling sick about the bad snow and weather in our hometown. So we decided to get into a bar and kill our sadness with some alcohol.
On the road with us was also our friend Dominic Steinmann. I've you read some earlier post you know that he is a photographer and what do a good photographer? Right, he takes every chance to make a good Picture or a movie. So was it also at this evening at the New Old-inn in Saas Grund.

Nice Barmaid

The Barmaid was very nice and we did not only forget the time, we also forget what we had drunk. More I have not to tell, the rest and the day after can you see in the video below from Dominic Steinmann.

THE HOME RUN

At the 11th April 2014 I was one of 79 riders, which participated at the first banked Slalom - THE HOME RUN - at Bellwald (Switzerland). It was not only for me a challange to kill the banks and reaching the finishline. Also a couple of well named Riders from Switzerland (exp. Nicolas Müller, Levi Luggen)had there Problems to finish the well prepared run.

The Organisators had done it well, and organized a unforgetable weekend for us riders!

The Perfect Pow Slash

I was on the road with Dominic Steinman. He's photographer and has the timing to press the camarabutton at the right moment. It was exactly like this at this fantastic day in Belap (Wallis, Switzerland).
He got the perfect pow slash which we were waiting for on the picture. Great Job!

Snow-Prime Magazine Story

My Site in Snow-Prime Magazine

I got a whole page in the snow-prime magazine Nr. 29 (Winter 2013/14) to place a story about me.
The Story was quickly written, but the sitedesign was though to get in shape. There for I asked a good friend of mine, Marcel Lüthi, who designed the page for me.

And here you see the result of his work, which was printed in the magazine.
